How to use & recommended recipes

Our baristas have tested recipes for brewing delicious coffee using REC COFFEE coffee beans. We have published instructions and recipes to help you brew at home.

Step 1

Grind your favorite coffee beans to a medium-fine to medium grind. Place the filter and coffee powder in the dripper, and fill the tank with water up to the desired number of cups.

Barista Guide

We recommend using the REGULAR mode for drip coffee. Since the extraction speed cannot be changed, we recommend adjusting the amount of ground coffee. The recommended amount of ground coffee for REC COFFEE is as follows:

1 serving: 12g
For 2 servings: 16g
For 3 servings: 26g

★If you don't mind the number of cups, we recommend 2 cups as it will brew more deliciously.

Barista Guide

The filter is cone-shaped, and this time I used HARIO's V60 Paper Filter 02. A cone filter for 2-4 cups is the perfect size.

The mesh (grind size) will vary slightly depending on the beans, but it should be about the same as regular hand drip coffee.

Step 2

Select your preferred brewing mode from three options: REGULAR, STRONG, or ICED, and choose the number of cups you want. Press the start button to begin brewing.

Step 3

The open design allows you to enjoy the aroma of fresh beans as they swell and drip.
Please wait while listening to the gentle sound reminiscent of the pendulum of an antique clock.

Step 4

Once extraction is complete, gently shake the server to evenly distribute the coffee.
Pour into cups for the number of people and you're done.

Difference in taste from hand drip coffee

Coffee brewed in a coffee maker has a mild and balanced flavor.
It's easier to express sweetness and acidity with hand drip, so it's fun to try changing it to suit the characteristics of the beans.
