REC COFFEE Yakuin Ekimae store opened in 2010 as REC COFFEE's first street-front store.
In other words, this store is positioned like REC COFFEE's main store.
It is close to the sales location during the truck era, and originally housed a second-hand bookstore.

As the name suggests, the Yakuin Ekimae store is located close to Yakuin Station in Fukuoka, and is bustling with people enjoying coffee until just before the last train.
Having coffee as a final drink is a unique culture in Fukuoka, and it is rare nationwide for coffee shops to be open so late at night.
This area, just one station from Tenjin, Fukuoka's central district, is a popular area in Fukuoka, home to stylish general stores and delicious restaurants.
With its easy access and collection of trendy shops, it is consistently cited as a city where young people want to live.

The interior of the shop has an industrial atmosphere and is long and narrow, with counter seats where you can watch the baristas hand-dripping the coffee.
There is a small terrace seating area outside where you can bring your dog during the day and enjoy a cup of coffee while feeling the pleasant night breeze in the evening.

The espresso machine at the Yakuin Ekimae store is the striking silver-bodied "Cyncra" by SYNESSO.
This machine, built in the spirit of Seattle craftsmanship, incorporates a system to ensure consistent espresso extraction.

Recommended products at Yakuin Station shop
- First of all, please tell us what menu item you would recommend that people who come to the Yakuin Station order.
Sannomiya: Currently, there are no menu items exclusive to the Yakuin Ekimae store, but there are of course menu items that we would like you to try!
My favorite is the Kenyan iced Americano.
The refreshing taste of Kenyan citrus makes it the perfect iced Americano.
We recommend drinking it while slowly melting the ice!
Also, it goes well with chocolate, so I recommend pairing it with chocolate.

Yakuin Station Front Store Staff Recommended Seats
- After ordering, you have to choose a seat. Do you have any recommended seats?
Sannomiya: The staff recommends this seat in the center of the restaurant! 
It's a corner table seat hidden by a pillar. The table height makes it easy to work, it's right up against the wall so it's comfortable, and there's an outlet... I think you'll understand once you sit down!
When you're not alone, there are no other seats around so you can talk without worrying!
This is the only place that can beat other stores!

Sannomiya: It's youth! The vitality that comes with youth!
The Yakuin Ekimae store has the longest opening hours of all our stores, and is open until late at night, so we strive to provide lively and energetic customer service.
Especially at night, everyone comes over after drinking, so I try my best to speak loudly so I don't lose to them.

On the other hand, in the mornings, it's before work, so it has a more relaxed atmosphere...I think the impression of the store changes drastically depending on the time of day.

Please tell us some common stories from the Yakuin Ekimae store!
Sannomiya: Yakuin is some kind of passageway.
On my way home, before going out to eat, and after eating, staff from various stores come by!
There's nothing to do but sit at the counter and drink coffee. It feels like a relaxing home for everyone. 
Also, this is something that happens to me personally, but when I see someone gulp down a cup of coffee on the spot, say "thank you for the meal" and then leave in an instant, I think "that's so cool!" lol
